Product Overview
The 5712N is a 12-volt PMDD outboard starter with counter-clockwise rotation and an 11-tooth pinion, for OMC Johnson / Evinrude 25FF (25-35 HP) and two-cylinder 25-40 HP outboards. It replaces OMC 386591, 392133, 585061 and 586278, and United Technologies units 0255640-M030SM / 5705140-M030SM.
Each unit is remanufactured to OE dimensions: housings are stripped, cleaned and refinished, worn brushes, bushings, solenoid contacts and seals are renewed, and every completed starter is bench-tested for rotation, pinion engagement and current draw before packing. A corrosion-resistant finish suits marine use. Backed by a 12-month warranty.
