Product Overview
The 3238N is a 12-volt, 1.4 kW permanent-magnet gear-reduction (PMGR) starter with clockwise rotation and a 10-tooth pinion. It fits Ford Ranger 2.3L (1991-2001) and Mustang 2.3L (1992-1993), as well as Mazda B2300 2.3L (1994-1997) and B2500 2.5L (1998-2001) trucks, and directly replaces Ford OE numbers F17U-11000-AB, F1TZ-11002-A and F87U-11000-A1A.
Each unit is remanufactured to OE dimensions: housings are stripped, cleaned and refinished, worn brushes, bushings, solenoid contacts and seals are renewed, and every completed starter is bench-tested for rotation, pinion engagement and current draw before packing. Backed by a 12-month warranty.
